I am currently Assistant Professor of Philosophy (CLA) at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.  I successfully defended my dissertation at York University in August 2021.

In general, I am interested in the nature of normativity, and my research examines how it works in a variety of situations.  Broadly, my research is in theoretical ethics, action theory, social philosophy, and political philosophy.  I'm currently working on a monograph-length study that investigates the nature of solidarity and its connection to political equality.

My teaching has focused on ethics, social and political philosophy, as well as introductory philosophy and reasoning.
